TEFL Prague and Abroad

I was recently sent a message stating that The Language House TEFL  was awarded second place by in excellence and graduate reviews for all TEFL certification programs in 2015. This is worldwide! Go Abroad  Teacher training is a lot of work and it's nice to get the reward. What makes The Language House TEFL successful? I think it's that we offer not just great teacher training, but also a vibrant graduate/teacher community. Our staff is fantastic, being made up of 100% teachers. With a majority of TEFL course organisations,  you only have a few teacher trainers working on the course. The rest of the staff are administration. With The Language House TEFL, all of us our teachers. This creates a much more learner-centred approach to the course and the benefits clearly show.  Just a quick tip for anyone who is interested in taking a TEFL course. If you are interested in teaching abroad in Prague or elsewhere, make sure to get into contact with recent graduates of the course you are planning on taking. There are good providers out there and there are unfortunately some lackluster ones. There's nothing wrong with a getting a list of past graduates who you can contact to check their experience, and it's not a lot to ask for from the TEFL course provider. The TEFL job market is getting a bit tighter and you need to make sure that graduates of your particular program are working afterwards and were happy with their experience. It's a big investment to make and it's the only clear way of checking the legitimacy of the course. Here's a list of our recent grads.
